Selling food in the streets is a widespread phenomenon in the city of Dhaka, the capital of
Bangladesh. Among various types of informal sector activity, street food vending is
distinctive in the sense that it provides a basic need to the urban inhabitants and involves
the issue of hygiene and food safety. A large number of city dwellers from different
spheres such as students, tourists, rickshaw drivers, cart pullers, and other such workers
rely on street food vendors for food and everyday meal. In this picture we can see there are some street food. It looks delicious but all are not hygienic. We taka this kind of food everyday but we are not conscious about our health.
